"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God." Romans 8: 14-16 (NKJV)
Right now, New Zealand and many other nations around the world are currently in uncharted territory, thanks to COVID-19.
We have recently witnessed much fear, panic and confusion as our governments and law enforcement attempt to deal with this crisis.
None of us really know when or how this will end. It has shaken the very core of our security and humanity. Many speculate, hypothesise, even develop conspiracy around it.
Fortunately, for those who are truly in Christ, we know God knows about all things - including Coronavirus. As a true believer, we can take comfort and have peace that God really does know what He's doing. He knew this day was coming and He knows how it will pan out.
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." Matthew 6:31-33 (NLT)
God alone knows if this is the time He'll send His son Jesus back for us, or maybe it's just a preparation run.
Either way, we don't have to be fearful of any event, including this one. we don't have to worry about where our next dollar is coming from, we don't have to worry about a future new world government, and we certainly don't have to worry about catching this virus.
What we need to do is accept this as a wake up call and get serious with Jesus.
One thing is for real. Time is short.
The true believer in Christ need not fear, we must act. Be Jesus to those around you. Be Jesus practically as well as verbally.

Be encouraged, Jesus is with us, but we also need to be found in Him.
